Join us as we dive deep into the practice and theory of Culturally Responsive Teaching in the Art Room, with a focus on Anti-Bias and Anti-Racist education led by Flavia Zuñiga-West, founder of the "Adding Voices Conference."
This webinar will be interactive, facilitating internal and external strategies that aid us in the work that must be done so that we may fully support our students from BIPoC communities in and through the arts.

About the Keynote Speaker:
Flavia Zuñiga-West is a full time art teacher, curriculum writer, and advocate, who lives and works in Los Angeles. Following her work with the American Alliance of Museums and her successes practicing culturally responsive teaching in the elementary, middle, and high school classroom, she birthed the Adding Voices Conference, the first-ever conference to focus solely on issues of culturally responsive pedagogy in the visual arts and to create a community for art educators of color and allies.
