Adding Voices conferences and workshops center the experiences and expertise of art educators who identify as Black, Brown, Indigenous, or part of the Global Majority, creating a safe space for professional development, leadership and networking, and prioritizing social justice and equity in Art Education. #BlackLivesMatter

Moore College of Art & Design, located in Philadelphia, PA is proud to host the 2022 Adding Voices conference: “Steeped in Community: Telling Our Stories & Breathing in Liberation,” on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2, 2022.

Early registration is being offered exclusively to members of the Global Majority for the first three weeks of registration. Starting June 6, registration will be open to the general public. Please register in consideration of these guidelines.

Ticket Sale and Session Selection Dates:

  • May 9: Global Majority Early Registration Open
  • June 6: General Admission Registration Open
  • August 1: Global Majority Session Selection Open
  • August 15: General Admission Session Selection Open
     

Ticket Pricing

  • $10: Members of the Global Majority
  • $25: General Admission
  • FREE for all students from any high school, college or university
  • Scholarships available upon request


This registration is a one-time fee. There will be no additional charges for the main part of this conference. We will send out an email in August asking you to sign up for specific sessions to ensure that our workshops are not overcrowded.

Up to 15 hours of Professional Development available, including ACT48, for PA certified educators.
